The Big Iron is a one off wine, limited production of Grenache, Syrah & Mourvedre. This is my husband, David's wine, named after the Mary Robbins song, Big Iron about an Arizona Ranger who had a fateful duel with a wanted outlaw. David grew up in Tucson and rocked shorts and cowboy boots as a little boy - some days you'll still find him dressed as an 8 year old version of himself. The wine is medium bodied with spicy notes from whole cluster ferment of the Mourvedre, light fruit from the Grenache and a beautiful nose of blueberries pie and baking spices.
